Explore the sonic depths with our baritone guitar collection. Tuned lower than standard guitars (typically B to B or A to A), baritone guitars deliver a rich, thunderous voice that sits perfectly between guitar and bass.

The AJ has a 13” bout, single-cutaway Alder body with stylized front and back contours and a lower horn and neck heel for easy access to the upper frets.
The vintage T-style bridge plate has reverse angled pickup mounting to add more depth to the high strings and alleviate the ice pick highs usually associated with T-styles. The vintage style 3 brass saddles are step-compensated for more accurate intonation, and the controls, including a master volume, master tone, and a 3-position toggle switch, are all rear loaded for a clean, classic look.
The machine screw and Brass insert neck-to-body fastening method not only gives an amazingly strong mechanical bond but also provides better tonal coupling and adds beautiful complexity to the overtones.
The Bloodline® JP-3P (P-90) pickup in the neck position is wound to give it more clarity than is normally associated with this style of pickup. Partnered with the JP-3T, a classic T-style bridge pickup at a reverse angle, the two blend to give you a great, full classic tone, excellent clarity, and no ice-pick highs.
The bass justified fret dots improve player visibility while adding to the aesthetic vibe I always shoot for.

The AJ by John Page

John Page Signature
The John Page Signature AJ is a hand-crafted, boutique electric guitar that honors the legacy of one of the world's most legendary guitar craftsmen-John Page, co-founder of the Fender Custom Shop.
The AJ body is an evolution of the classic T-Style, carved from select ash and finished in a beautiful Butterscotch Blonde. The guitar's body is paired with a quarter-sawn Signature Medium C maple neck and an Indian rosewood or maple fretboard. The neck attaches to the body via machine screws and threaded inserts, transferring an articulate, resonant tone between neck and body with a distinctly vintage-inspired feel. The sculpted heel, contoured body, and lightweight construction showcase Page’s iconic ergonomics—effortless in hand, flawless on stage.
The AJ features our hand-wound Bloodline® JP-3P (P90) pickup on the neck and JP-3T reverse angled pickup on the bridge, capturing a broad tonal range—from sparkling cleans to punchy midrange growl, all simply by transparently amplifying the acoustic properties of the wood. Combined with compensated saddles, Kluson tuners, and hand-shaped bone nut, the AJ is both expressive and rock-solid.

Bloodline® by John Page Pickups
I’ve worked really hard to design my guitars to create a specific acoustic tonal character, so it’s important for me to use pickups that duplicate that appropriately.

JP-1
Bloodline® JP-1 pickups bring the sonic perspective and character of John Page, among the world’s greatest living custom luthiers, to your guitar. They have a classic early 60’s S-style tone - stringy with great clarity, full and meaty but not overly hot. In John’s words, “It’s time to start feeling your guitar as well as hearing it – and my Bloodline® JP-1 pickups can help."

JP-3
The JP-3P has a really nice, full bottom end, with punchy mids and a clean top end. It has a bit more clarity than is normally associated with a P-90, and no mud! It’s a nice thick sounding single coil. The JP-3T pays homage to a classic T-style bridge pickup. It’s clean and snappy, but roll the tone off a bit and turn up the volume and it’ll give you all the punch and growl you need.
