Signature
Named after my daughter Ashley, this guitar has a double-cutaway, 13" lower bout body, and an Eastern Hard Maple neck available with multiple fretboard options that feature a 12" radius and 22 Jescar .047" x .095" Nickel Silver frets.
The core model Ashburn has a vintage style 6-saddle tremolo bridge, 3 S-style single coil pickups with reversed bridge pickup angle, master volume and tone controls, and a 5-position lever switch.
The Medium C neck is extremely comfortable and provides an ideal amount of mass to become a key component in the tone production, especially when coupled to the body with over-sized machine screws, specially designed grommets, and solid Brass threaded inserts.
Three Bloodline® S-style single coil pickups.
The Ashburn features my bass justified fret dots for improved player visibility, and front and back body contours for player comfort.

With a world-class command of styles ranging from progressive metal to R&B, Matt Muehling has become one of the most versatile and electrifying guitarists of his generation. It’s no surprise he was tapped for the guitar chair on the #1 live show on YouTube, Kill Tony, where Matt — and his John Page Signature Ashburn — reach more than 2 million viewers every week.
Beyond Kill Tony, Matt is a prolific composer and bandleader. His project Open2.o blends fusion, jazz, rock, and classical influences into cinematic musical journeys entirely crafted by Matt. His work with Sir Woman and Progger has taken him across the globe, earning appearances on CBS, Netflix, Bruno Mars' legendary Pinky Ring nightclub in Las Vegas, and so much more.
Matt’s Signature Ashburn is the result of a deeply hands-on collaboration with John Page, integrating innovations developed around Matt’s exacting musical needs. An HSH pickup configuration with a humbucker coil-split and five-way switch delivers nine distinct tonal variations. A recessed tremolo cavity enables Matt’s trademark expressive vibrato and dramatic pitch-bend range far beyond a standard floating bridge.
The first batch of 10 Matt Muehling Signature Ashburns are each signed by Matt on the back of the headstock—an exclusive release for early collectors.
The Secret Sauce? Still John Page.
Bloodline® by John Page Pickups
I’ve worked really hard to design my guitars to create a specific acoustic tonal character, so it’s important for me to use pickups that duplicate that appropriately.

JP-1
Bloodline® JP-1 pickups bring the sonic perspective and character of John Page, among the world’s greatest living custom luthiers, to your guitar. They have a classic early 60’s S-style tone - stringy with great clarity, full and meaty but not overly hot. In John’s words, “It’s time to start feeling your guitar as well as hearing it – and my Bloodline® JP-1 pickups can help."

JP-3
The JP-3P has a really nice, full bottom end, with punchy mids and a clean top end. It has a bit more clarity than is normally associated with a P-90, and no mud! It’s a nice thick sounding single coil. The JP-3T pays homage to a classic T-style bridge pickup. It’s clean and snappy, but roll the tone off a bit and turn up the volume and it’ll give you all the punch and growl you need.
